Changes To The Weekly Routine
1. Spelling Packets (including words written twice in cursive) are due on Thursday.
2. Also, each Monday, your child will receive a fluency
builder reading exercise. These are due each Friday.
3. Monthly Reading Logs:
Students are required to read 500 minutes each month.
(20 min. per night). Completed, signed forms must be
returned at the end of the month.
4. Finally, students are responsible to practice their multiplication tables each night as part of their Math homework. We cover these in class in a variety of ways, but additional practice is needed. We are currently mastering the 7 tables. We already covered (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, and 11). Next month, we will practice the 6 tables.
Academic Update:
Science: This quarter we will cover the topic of SOUND.
Social
Studies: We will be spending time covering Communities and
Geography. Unit 2
